Creativity has always been at the core of who I am. From an early age, I was drawn to storytelling. Capturing moments and bringing my ideas to life through a lens. My journey in videography and photography began with a passion for being behind the camera. It’s a passion that has only continued to burn and has now evolved into a career dedicated to Digital Media, Emerging Media and Brand/Content Storytelling.
In 2020, I started taking photos for my high school, Fox Creek High School, mainly focusing on sports photography. From 2021 - 2024, I was on the sidelines of every home football game (and some basketball games) determined to capture every moment I could. Everything from what was happening on the field to the students that were there to cheer the team on.
Beyond sports photography, I expanded my role within my school’s creative community. In late 2022, I took over our school’s Ren Crew social media, where I created almost every graphic and filmed every event and produced recap videos of things that we were doing around the school, especially our Ren Rallies. I also was responsible for creating engaging and creative ways to announce student section themes. My work not only documented these events for all staff, students and parents to see, but it built engagement and school spirit through dynamic and high-quality content.
One of the most defining experiences of my journey came when I was asked to attend the Jostens Global Renaissance Conference (JRGC) in Dallas. As a part of a team of students, I had the opportunity to not only network with students from all over the country, but I also had the honor of capturing our entire trip (and then creating recap videos of our Dallas trip). This trip gave me a deeper understanding of the power of media in shaping narratives and communities. It’s an understanding that I still use today when crafting content.
Since graduating in 2024, I have worked with brands like ROC Truck and non-profits like Aiken Senior Life Services to create engaging content and helping to build a well-known brand. I’ve also managed their social media platforms and have experience with creating social media campaigns and helping brands and non-profits share their stories.
Throughout all of this, my goal has remained the same: to create impactful content that leaves a lasting impression.
